JULY! Special Day & Place!

Field Trip: Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Fair July 19th. Located at the McHenry County College.  Volunteers are needed to co-ordinate. A car pool is welcomed. The event runs from July 18th to the 20th. Interknit will participate and demonstrate KM on Saturday.

Coordinators of this event are looking for volunteers to help organize Clubs and Guilds that wish to demo their craft. Contact carol@artaffairs.org. This event is showing very healthy growth. It features art displays, workshops, demos as well as a fine selection of vendors. Well worth the trip. Please show your support. For more info visit: www.fiberandfolk.com (a link is provided to the college for directions)

Show & Tell: HK vs. MK! We’ve had many beautiful hand knit projects as of late, but some members have reminded us all that InterKnit is a machine knitters group. So, as an incentive we’re going to have a Quarterly drawing and a special yearly drawing of names for those who have brought in KM “show & tell” items. Potential prizes such as picking an item from the Library to keep! Begins in April.
